People say it is the day when you can express love to your Girl Friends and Boy Friends. People Go out. chill out.
We can see couples all around the market, streets, malls, parks everywhere...Some moving around within what we call "Social Limits" and for some I dont think I really need to explain :)
I thought to myself - is Valentines Day really all this.
Some of my friends were asking me Nids with whom are you going out with..Who Is your valentine today and for years to come...
I had no answer - I thought do I really need somone to celebrate this day with...
I just want to know - do we really need a special day to express our love?
If the answer is yes then valentines day is a day to express love - it can be to anyone who has made a special difference in your life and that someone can be any one - Your friend, family, relative, your special some one, your neighbour, someone unknown, unseen, a stranger who in need had helped you etc. etc.
I would love to celebrate this valentine with my parents who have been there for me whenever I needed them, who have fulfilled all my wishes without even me asking for it
I would love to celebrate this valentine with my friends - my special friends with whom I have shared who Nidhi is..who understand me...
I would love to celebrate this Valentine with that stranger who helped me without a second thought
I would love to celebrate this Valentime with my neighbours - who are there despite all odds..inspite of any misunderstandings -who are not even a call away they are just approachable at any moment.
I would also love to celebrate this Valentime with my special someone who is still yet to come in my life and who is in my dreams always :)
But I still think that we dont need a speical day to express our love, our gratitude towards someone - I beleive that we should always make those people special who have left a mark in our life.
I beleieve that we should always value all our relationships and should always feel grateful to them to be a part of our lifes - who knows when they leave us - if we are just thinking and waiting for a special moment to express our selves
Give Time to your loved ones..Who Knows when you have time your loved ones are not there...
